CARE: Animals are an important part of our world

Hello Everyone!!!

On 25th August,2007 the calf was hit by a reckless driver in toyota qualis in front of our house. The driver fled without even stoping the vehicle. It was around 6:00 pm and street was quite busy. Its leg was so badly hurt that the bone in the leg was hanging and was struck only with muscles. It was in a horrible state. Three young teen girls saw the calf and immediately called every one including bluecross for help. None turned up

except for KRUPA.  They gave the first aid. These girls were'nt ready to leave the cattle on road,
they wanted to leave that to owner or some NGO which can take care of the calf. Even the owner of the calf saw and just fled because he has to shell out atleast rupees 10,000 to 15,000 to save the calf. Then my friends who stay with me offered to help the calf and asked them to leave because it was already nearing 10:00 pm.
The calf was bought to our backyard and it stayed there. In the morning we again called up Krupa ( and also all other so called NGO's but none turned up,
perhaps they are there only for namesake and donations). They came and saw the wound and also gave the first aid for the calf. It was in real agony but not even a little it resisted for any medicine or even while dressing the wound (Remember if you have ever had a slight fracture how much it pains even if someone touches it). And the doctors of KRUPA advised that the animal require constant look after and a doctor's visit regularly in order to regain back. This was not possible for us since all of us are going to jobs. So we left it at the Prani Daya Sangha ( infact we were amased to see such a place in the heart of the city, Its a real good place which is for animals). They assured to take care of the calf. So when you generously give for the good just check which organisation and how much they help. Here are the two NGOs which did the real work when needed.
They really require an appreciation.
